Extraintestinal Manifestations

There are often symptoms which occur outside of the digestive system. These are termed extraintestinal manifestations. Approximately 1/3 of patients with IBD also have extraintestinal manifestations [1] These issues are occasionally caused by vitamin and mineral deficiencies. Extraintestinal manifestations include:

Musculoskeletal

Skin and Mucous Membranes

Neurologic

Ocular

Bronchopulmonary

Cardiac

Endocrine and Metabolic

Hematologic

Renal and Genitourinary

Hepatopancreatobiliary

This is a fantastic piece of work David and you are to be commended for its entirety.
It will be a very useful reference for members of the Crohn's site.
It must have taken eons to produce something so inclusive and so very useful

This will sound terrible but I don't remember if I compiled this list or not. I don't think so as it's not entirely how I'd do it but I've been researching EIM's so much that I've lost track. If/when I find the original site I'll be sure to reference them.
