Leukocytes - White Blood Cells

Leukocytes are a part of the immune system and are also known as White Blood Cells. The term Leukocyte is broad and includes multiple different types of White Blood Cells.

A Leukocyte count, or White Blood Cell count, is a typical Blood Test screen to look for the body's immune response to a possible infection.
