What is Rowasa ?
Rowasa is a brand of Mesalamine in Enema form provided by Solvay Pharmaceuticals or Alaven Pharmaceuticals.

* Rowasa should be used with caution in patients with Allergy to Sulfasalazine or Sulfa containing medications.

Rowasa is used for treatment of "Mild" or "Moderate" Ulcerative Colitis or Proctitis

Rowasa is a Pregnancy Category B Drug.

- Nephrotoxicity
- Pancreatitis
- Fibrosing Alveolitis

* Rowasa will cause staining of fabric, paint, and multiple surfaces used in flooring (vinyl, marble, granite, enamel, etc.).
