Are they mesalazine slow release tablets like Pentasa, then yes I'm on them too, but they're not strong enough for during a major flare, but good enough to maintain and prevent future inflammation, cos they're anti inflammatories but not pain killers. If you're flaring then you might need a back up such as Pred or Aza.
