to express how grateful my family and i are
someone we do not know was willing
for our princess to go this far
you've given no guanrantee, no miracle
yet far more than we had
you've given out baby a chance of relief
for that we are ever so glad
for so long we have felt we were
fighting for her on our own
no one else would care or listen
you've given us hope we are not alone.

never enough can we thank you
you are a kind and thoughtful person
