Surgery - scared but kind of excited
met with surgeon today. "the writing is on the wall" he said - meaning I can delay the surgery but the termineal ileum needs to come out. its all i needed to hear. oddly i feel excited - like for years i've wanted this inflamed tissue out and have been trying to have a doc recommend it - and finally! yay! i must be crazy. at the same time when i actually think about the surgery - SCARY!
trying to schedule it in the next month. i hope the scarier thoughts don't just grow. at least i can stop humira this month, of course my stomach isn't going to be happy.
