Nobody knows...

I'm sorry but I feel like an imposture here. I have no diagnosis... Actually I have no clue nor do my doctors of what is wrong with me.

All we know is that I have severe dietary reactions. I have a completely compacted Colon. I have lost 10 Kg in 2 weeks and that was only from cleansing my colon up to the descending colon with colonics.

I've suffered quietly for years without complaint because it's always there. The feelings of fullness, bloating, never pooing. It's only now that I accept that something is more wrong than just IBS.

I am scared! I am in pain! I am exhausted! I can't eat.

I just want to ask for some advice and guidance. Do some more research from a individual's point of view.

Thank you!

HI there,
I have had crohn's for 21 years now and just recently had flare up and are on predisone for a while. you system is tell you something is wrong. but i would go back to your doctor and get to see if you can get a appointment with GI specialist to see exactly what's going on hopefully between you , your doctor and GI specialist you can figure things out. best wishes.

Welcome and don't feel like an imposter. We have plenty of folks here who are undiagnosed and many many more misdiagnosed along the way. Make yourself at home!

p.s. there is actually an undiagnosed club in the support forum!

Hi and welcome to the forum! I am sorry to hear about your GI issues. Does your doctor suspect IBD? Have you had any recent testing?

Feel free to search around the forum and study up on IBD. There is lots of very helpful info on here.

Sorry you aren't diagnosed yet! Have you had your thyroid checked? Push hard on your doctor to find out what is wrong with you. Get second opinions if you have to. I went 4 years undiagnosed, because my doctor was an idiot. As soon as I went to a specialist they knew exactly what to do. Good luck and take care!

Don't feel like an imposter. You don't have to have Crohn's to post here. We welcome everyone.

This is a serious medical problem and you need to get it sorted. Fecal impaction that you are describing can cause necrosis and ulceration of your bowel. You may require surgery to have the impacted stool removed. Has it shown up on scans? It sounds like you have reached the point of an obstruction, and that is not going to get better on its own.

Do you exercise? Eat fiber? Drink enough water? Take painkillers? Not getting enough of the first three, and the last one are the usual causes of fecal impaction. I don't believe colonics are considered to be a treatment for this problem.

What are your "dietary reactions?" What foods do they include and what does the reaction entail?

Welcome to the forum. I hope you get this fixed, and soon and start feeling better.
