Artificial ileocecal valve

Does anyone have an artificial ileocecal valve? does this thing exist?
Apparently my ileocecal valve is affected by Crohn plus 4.5 cm of the terminal ilium.

If I'm going to have a surgery in the future I will probably need to have the ileocecal valve removed as well. It sounds so scary.

Is it possible to have an artificial valve?

I haven't heard about artificial digestive system replacements but I'm sure it's part of the future. They do have system transplants for extremely suck people but the body often rejects it and it's last resort and very rare.

I had a bowel resection in March, and there was no discussion of a replacement to the ileocecal valve. They just remove it, and reattach what's left.

I haven't had the valve for almost 4 months now, and I am fine.

You will be too.
Don't assume my posts are about you. But if you are affected, that must mean you are guilty of something.
