CLA shows Anti-Inflammatory Potential for Crohn's Patients

I get these free newsletters from the Swanson Health Products company, which often has useful information on supplements.

The article in the link below concerns the use of Conjugated linoleic acid to lower inflammation in Crohn's Patients.

We investigated the immuno-regulatory efficacy of CLA in patients with mild to moderate Crohn's disease."
What they found was that "Oral CLA administration… decreased disease activity and increased the quality of life of patients with Crohn's disease."

This has been posted periodically, but nobody seems too enthused to give it a go. Specifically, the dosage used in studies was 6 grams a day of Tonalin CLA--which is sourced for multiple brands' CLA. I bought three bottles of this stuff at 60% off and have been putting it off myself. Perhaps it is time to give it a go...

I encourage others to research this themselves and post their findings, as I will if I dedicate myself to taking 6 caps a day...

I am going to try it when I place my next supplement order. I don't see much potential downside to it.
