Super foods

Following is a list of super foods which are being discussed in Sarah's course. I plan to research them more and post some research links. Some of them I have already heard from the forum.

1. Acal berries

May need to avoid if allergic to pollens.

People who are allergic to acai or to plants in the Arecaceae (palm) family should not consume acai

Consuming acai might affect MRI test results. If you use acai products and are scheduled for an MRI, check with your health care provider.

Seems to be very heavy promoted on the web for weigh loss.

2. Goji berries

Also know as wolfberry.
If you take Warfarin you may want to avoid Goji berries
They may interact with diabetes drugs and blood pressure drugs.
Member of nightshade family.
High in vitamin A
Case reports have linked goji berries consumption with skin photosensitivity, causing a skin rash on exposure to sunlight.
They are also naturally rich in oxalate which may be a health issue in kidney problems.
