Biopsy results?

I had a colonoscopy and upper endoscopy Monday, May 5. The doctor found some inflammation in one area and took a couple biopsies. I still haven't gotten a phone call. Do doctors usually call regardless of if it's IBD or not? I'm really anxious!

Make sure you get results send to you. Even if the come back fine. Demand it. You would be amazed what can be missed in reports.

Usually docs do get back to you with results two weeks after your scope. However, if you want to know the results sooner (or if you don't hear from the doc) go ahead and call. It is your health, you have the right to know.
