New Treatment

On April 21 I started my new treatment which is Humira injections. My first dose was 4 injections. My next dose is May 5 and I get 2 injections. After that I am on my own doing 1 injection every 2 weeks. In my opinion they are extremely painful, but it is not the needle it is the medicine. But I would rather go through pain for 10 seconds than have to have surgery and a colostomy bag. I am happy I finally found a new treatment.
If you are on Humira also I would like to hear your experiences. :)
Thank you for reading.

When you inject try waiting 10-15 minutes to let it get to room temperature and wait for the alcohol to dry, it'll help with the burning :) I am not on Humira now but I used to be. Gave me a really good 3-4 months of remission

Humira worked great for me for almost 3 years. Wait 10 minutes after you take it out of fridge. Also, hold ice pack to your belly prior to the shot and after the shot - helped me a lot with the shot pain.
