Question about weight gain

Having just found out I have crohn's, I have been dealing with being tested for everything under the sun. I also quit smoking two years ago and since two years ago I have gained over 100 lbs putting me now at 310 :/ I thought it was from smoking but I usually only eat once a day due to pain, and not wanting 10-18 bm's a day. I'm still gaining about 10-12 lbs a month I am not on medications as of yet being newly diagnosed and no insurance, has anyone else had severe continued weight gain? Its very frustrating.

Have you seen a doctor about this?

Yes I am seeing a gastrointestinal dr , I'm in the process of getting a colonoscopy and endoscopy here next month. I should clarify my Gastro Dr hasn't diagnosed me with Crohns yet he said he is thinking it is crohns as all other tests have come back negative, hence my colonoscopy and endoscopy test.
